Scheduling Yale Interview

Has anyone been able to schedule the Yale interview? I left a voice mail at the number they provided yesterday and still have heard nothing. I put a flight on hold and was hoping to buy it before the hold expired tonight and rates possibly increased. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Yup I scheduled mine yesterday. I kept calling until I got a real live person on the line....

Yeah I called them two days ago and I keep on getting the voicemail. I didn't want to keep on calling and harassing though... but I think tomorrow I may try to call the number listed on their original application (which is different from the number they asked us to call)

I went ahead and called again, but I called their regular admissions office this time, because the other number in the e-mail wasn?t working for me. They transferred me to the guy who schedules interviews, and he was very nice. I think the strike out there is really hurting them. If I were you missmod, I would just call again.

Call again if you didn't get through the first time. I talked to some random (Tom, John, or something like that) guy who scheduled all the interviews and he was very nice about it.

When was your file complete at Yale? I didn't hand in my secondary until late August so I know I have some waiting to do.

I had the same problem too. I have yet to hear from there after leaving a voice mail. So i guess i will try to call the admissions office tomorrow. does anyone who already called know what interview dates are available and stuff so i can figure out my schedule.

i'm in the same boat as u, missbonnie.
i got my secondary into yale kind of late and was wondering how long the wait would be before I heard about interviews from them.

efex how long did you try calling? My fingers got tired of redialing.

For 1 hour non stop i was getting the freaking voice mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just called the number that they give you in the email again and spoke directly to Richard Silverman. He seems like a really cool and nice guy and scheduled my interview for next week. he also said that the delays in scheduling were due to the strike, which has as of this morning been worked out. so things should pick up soon.

Tezzie I called a couple of times only but it was early in the morning I guess I got lucky. I spoke with Richard....good luck girl!
