Ive heard of people getting scholarships from different universities but am not sure how/when to apply for these. Do you apply specifically for a scholarship at a certain school, if so when and how. Im totally clueless on this.

A lot of schools, if not most, will offer a scholarship upon giving an acceptance letter. You may also find a scholarship in your award letter when you receive it. However, check with each individual school, if you do need to apply for one, it would probably be found in their financial aid website. Additionally, you can also go to fastweb and check out what scholarship listings they have there.
