What kinds of scholarships are out there or pharmacy students?

The only one I know of is the McKesson Pharmacy Scholarship Program... Here's the requirements: Children or grandchildren of a McKesson pharmacy customer OR Pharmacy students employed at a McKesson pharmacy drug store. Students must be in their 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th year at an accredited school of pharmacy. Deadline: The application period closed October 31, 2009. Applications will be available again July 2010.

There are a lot- your school should have a list. You can also apply to most of the "health student" scholarships that are out there. If you're an URM, there are tons 🙂

I've searched far and wide for scholarships, but I never found that McKesson scholarship before 🙁

And traditionally a lot of healthcare scholarships don't like to give them to pharmacists, maybe because we're not recognized as healthcare providers in every state.
