Anyone received scholarships from any of the accepted schools so far?

How are they sent out? When did you get it?

Since financial awards is a big part of ones decision. So in my opinion, it won't be good if the school sent those out in like April or May since at those times are way after your deposit deadline. That way, you are forced to pay deposits in multiple schools just to see which school offers you more money....but then again, i'm just assuming that they sent those out in april or may...hopefully that would not be the case.

I received a scholarship to do research the summer before matriculating at U of Minnesota....I think, however, the academic scholarships are awarded once the class is finalized.

Scholarship to UOP for $15,000 a year.

I got a scholarship for Upenn for $20,000 per year

KMF,
Is that 45,000 for three years? Wow awsome friend!

Yes, that is $45,000 for the three years.

Actually, I received the tuition waiver (academic scholarship) for U of Minnesota with my acceptance, and my other scholarships were awarded with my acceptances, so I think that most schools give the scholarships the same time as acceptances.

How do people go about applying, or is being in the applicant pool automatically get you in the running?
