I was planning to have Scholl and Temple on my list of schools to apply to, but I will also be applying to their allopathic counterparts. I was wondering if these schools have the rule where you can only apply to one program at each school. I think Temple has that rule but I'm not sure. I've looked at each school's websites and I'm having a hard time finding out, could someone help me out?

Why podiatry?
Why not just stick to allopathic? You'll easily get in.
I have an interest in podiatry due to several ankle injuries as an athlete and I've realized how important the health of the foot and ankle is to quality of life. I also like that you can have an immediate positive impact on certain patients(I'm very results driven). I've been doing a lot of research on the profession and many seem to be very happy doing what they do.

Back in the day, you could with the Chicago Medical School at Scholl because they were not under the same banner. Now that they have merged (under the same university), you cannot do this anymore. I assume the same applies for Temple as well unless I'm mistaken.

Anecdotal, but I interviewed with applicants at Temple who were also interviewing at their allopathic school. Not sure why it would be discouraged. As a WesternU student, medical and podiatry school have quite a bit of overlap and having options is important in making the best possible decision regarding your future.
