  1. Pre-Podiatry
I'm curious about the different types of scholarships that Scholl has to offer for incoming podiatric medical students. I'm on the official website and there is mention of the Scholl Foundation Scholarship, the Goldstein Scholarship, and the Merit Scholarship, but there are no numerical values provided for these scholarships.

Does anyone know how much $$ each of these scholarships award?

This is one of those things that you need to talk the the school about. Scholarships change every year and its good to see which ones you are eligible for. You don't want to have ANY free money get away from you.

Basically what SLCpod said. They do change every year. (DMU scholarships went up this year from previous years) I was accepted into Scholl and was given the $5000 scholarship, but in their email it said that even though it doesn't automatically renew, half tuition scholarships and other ones are available on a competitive basis for subsequent years. So I mean you could get a pretty decent scholarship there if you work your butt off first year! I included a screen shot of the scholarship offer.

As far as first year scholarships I think the most they were giving out was 10,000 but I could be wrong on that.

Scholarships will range from 1500-half tuition all 4 years. They are non-renewable because each year is associated with different named scholarships from alumni or former faculty etc. There is a single page application that you fill out at the end of each year and they use that to determine the scholarship amounts for the next year. Personally my scholarship amount went up but I have friends that went down. It depends how well you do academically plus how involved you are on campus. So you could essentially have a 4.0 after first year but not be involved in anything and receive a smaller scholarship or you could have a 3.8 but be involved in research or leadership and get 1/2 tuition.

What were your stats for this scholarhip?
