School and Distance Relationships?

Greetings from a non-trad who mostly sticks to the vet school forums. Heading to vet school in 2011...

I had heard that there has been a thread about people deciding to go to school in a different location from their significant others, and issues surrounding all of it. Does anybody have the link to that thread? Does anybody have any insight from experience making that kind of decision?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
