I know it's still too early to talk about school choice, but for those of you who will be accepted to several schools, will you decide where to go before you get your financial aid package? I believe you don't receive these until later next year. Isn't the financial aid offer somewhat different for different schools?

Or maybe, this is not an important criterion for you...

I know that if I get into either of my schools of choice (UCLA or UCSF) I will not make my decision based on money. I'm not rich or anything, an extra 40k is definitely a big deal to me. But I am not going to let that ammount of money influence where I get the education that will affect the rest of my life. Once we get into private practice the 40g's (even with interest) won't be an object.

(This is the advice many dentists/ specialists have said to me at least, money shouldn't be an object. This is the best investment we are all going to make.)
