So from what I've read on the forums so far it seems as if you don't need the pay the 25$ per school fee to ADA right? Apparently you just have to have atleast one school designated that uses AADSAS and all your other designations will receive them as well. I am a Texas resident so I applied to my instate schools using TMDSAS. But the Texas schools also use AADSAS for out of state applicants. Will both TMDSAS and AADSAS get my scores because I selected the Texas schools when I registered to take my DAT? Or will I have to add an out of state school to get my scores sent to AADSAS?

I selected all schools when I paid fees for DAT,just to be on safe side(I haven't made a list for schools I am applying) . So if you you want to apply to school that you have not selected while registering for DAT, you will have to pay $25

ADEA AADSAS and DAT Scores
When applying for the DAT, you must grant permission to the DTS to release your official
scores to each dental school you wish to receive your official scores. You can select as many dental schools as you wish, if you do so when you submit your application.
After you test, ADEA AADSAS will retrieve your scores and will distribute them to the AADSAS participating schools designated in the ADEA AADSAS application. ADEA AADSAS is not able to retrieve official DAT scores if you did not select any ADEA AADSAS participating dental schools on your DAT application.
