School Failing Students

VMRCVM - Failed 7 students in the 3rd year class this year alone bringing our class total losses to almost 10% from year 1. Huge financial benefit to the school as almost all repeat.

I am interested in what the fail rate is at other schools and when they fail?

No because they are targeting different populations. Pre-vet students should be asking this question and looking at this when they apply. As a veterinary student who is losing 7 classmates this year I want to better understand what the real attrition rate looks like across veterinary school in the U.S.

When you start having to have conversations at school functions because of the suicide rate in your area you start thinking about the human consequences of beating people down for three years. Ironically we are constantly lectured on the importance of empathy but there is a complete lack of it when it comes to students.
