Your mental health records are protected by HIPPA and cannot be viewed by the school. The only exception to this is if you became a danger to yourself or others and mandatory reporting by your therapist or psychiatrist was needed for some reason to keep you/the school and other students safe.

Many students see therapists and psychiatrists during medical school, and schools will often support the student for mental health reasons if needed. You are going way above and beyond and over thinking it. Go with the plan that offers you the coverage you need at the best cost. As long as your mental health issues does not get in the way of practicing as a doctor and doesn’t endanger patients you will be fine.
