There is a medical school that is asking me to send in an official transcript (post-interview).

Why would they ask for this, if it's already through AMCAS? And they say, they can't make a decision until they my official transcript. ???

I know that some, if not all schools, ask for official transcripts once you have been accepted. Has your status changed?

That's was strange. I haven't been accepted. They're saying they need it to make "a decision".

What?

Sending in a transcript before the end of this semester or after you get your grades for this semester?

The former seems redundant... The latter may be problematic for some applicants due to hectic interview schedules bringing down grades...

I've heard of this but also don't understand it.

I guess the take home message is to just roll with it and send in the transcript!

Send it! It might increase your chance of getting a ticket into the school!
