MD School List Advice: CA Resident

Hi all,

Would love some advice on my school list- PI is asking for a copy. I am hoping it is not too top heavy. I'm a CA resident. 514 MCAT, 3.86GPA (upward). EC's are strong (pub, 2+ yrs research, 200hrs helping underserved, 300hrs clinical, 150hrs shadowing, founder of club). Solid letters.

Thanks for the advice. Just curious, any reason why I should omit applying to Kaiser? Also, I'm assuming I should avoid Penn State and Ohio State b/c they have in-state preference?

I have yet to hear that Kaiser is taking applications. If they are, then by all means apply.

I cannot recommend Penn State because their parent body protected a child molester for over two decades.

And yes, I think Ohio state will favor the home team
