You can remove Michigan State, Cooper, South Carolina and Wright as they are state public schools that accept few OOS applicants with your stats. Schools you could add include:
All 4 SUNY's
CUNY
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Quinnipiac
Vermont
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Medical College Wisconsin
Creighton
Tulane
Roseman (new school accepting applications sometime this year)

Thanks, but I have no shot with SUNY, Jefferson, Penn without doing an SMP. Some of the other schools that you have recommended have a median mcat of 33 and/0r GPA medians around 3.7. CUNY is only for the BS/MD program. I will be applying to Roseman once the application becomes available.

As a reapplicant you need to apply to many schools, even ones where your chances are somewhat low. Your chances for DO schools are very good and you should receive some DO interviews.

There is a reason why I am a reapplicant. I did exactly what you are suggesting and it backfired. Applying to schools where I meet the basic requirements is waste of money and time. But thank you for your advice.

Forget CUNY. It is for people coming out of the Sophie Davis program only.

Then it's the text of your app that needs work.
Can you elaborate? I was told to apply to schools where my stats are close to or above the median. So applying where I am at the 10th percentile for GPA or MCAT would not be a good idea, correct?

No, what I'm saying is that your stats may not be the issue, nor your list.
Possibly, but from the feedback that I got from multiple SUNYs and Jefferson last cycle, all of these schools recommended that I go do a smp before I reapply since my science is below a 3.6. Ipso facto, applying to schools that have same admission stats as Jefferson or SUNY will yield the same result.

Are there any DO schools that you would recommend?

Very tough love ahead. Proceed with extreme caution.

You have an average MCAT of 25 or less and a sGPA of 3.45. I'd say you has a snowball's chance regardless of your list. Time to find another career that better suits your strengths. You can still be a successful member of society but medicine does not seem to be a good fit for you.

Your stats are well within the range of a competitive DO applicant(average is 3.4 sGPA 27 MCAT) and how schools deal with multiple scores varies but certainly not all will average particularly when there is a 10+ gap between two scores. No need to give up and move to Plan B at this time but you do probably need more DO schools than what youve listed as a reapplicant.

Can you provide any suggestions?

Add a few more DO schools to your application. You are competitive for most DO schools. Other schools you could apply to include:
UP-KYCOM
LMU-DCOM
WVSOM
CUSOM
MU-COM
ACOM
WCU-COM
ARCOM
AZCOM
ATSU-COM
NYIT is also opening up a new campus in Arkansas and RVUCOM is opening up a new campus in Utah. Both may be open for the 2017 entering class.

Please don't listen to anything @LizzyM said, especially since you cannot judge if someone is suited for a career in medicine over the internet. These are the type of people you have to avoid and tune out. If medicine is what you want to do with your life then keep fighting for it. Do an SMP, keep volunteering, keep improving. Do a search for past threads, there are people who have had worse stats than you and have fought back to get into medical school. Just don't give up.

Agreed. While I have read years of @LizzyM 's thoughtful advice on here this is way out of line. If OP has his or her heart set on being a physician it is certainly still possible. MD may be out of the question but DO certainly is not. Especially if you have an interesting application.

Let's not get carried away and start bashing advisers here (because frankly, that's very inappropriate and not tolerated). Blunt realism is often necessary to keep things in perspective, and what LizzyM said was perfectly valid. Note that her post was referring to MD schools, and she is right on that. The DO route is the best way to go for OP.

Sorry, I think you need to read her post again. Nowhere does it say that she is referring to MD schools, only that the OP had no chance regardless of their list, which included DO schools. In fact, she was suggesting OP to change their career path altogether, a.k.a. not a physician (MD or DO). So I disagree, her post was not valid. At the end of the day, we are all trying to give our opinions to help steer OP on the right path. I just don't want them to give up on being a physician, which is why I said what I said.

If you followed LizzyM's advice consistently, you would know that her advice is for MD schools because she is an MD adcom (along with few others here). Goro is a DO adcom and knows more on the DO side of things. I understand that it's all motivating to tell members to keep striving for their dreams, but realism is necessary to keep things in perspective. And there is nothing wrong in preparing for Plan B in the event that medicine doesn't work out. So LizzyM's post may have been blunt and hurt some feelings, but I think it was necessary to steer OP from going to the wrong path and wasting time, money and effort on applications that may very well result in rejections.

And it's fine to disagree with adcoms and faculty here, but to singularly dismiss their posts and request members to ignore them just because of hurt feelings is completely unnecessary and deeply upsetting.

Like I had said before, I think the best route for OP is to pursue DO schools.

"<20,31 MCAT"- what does this mean? Where is @LizzyM getting less than 25MCAT from? This looks like the first time OP got below a 20 and the second time they got 31? Am I reading this wrong?
Also, I don't believe you should give up on medicine OP! You could take an SMP, or apply to DO. I think LizzyM meant well, but it came off differently than what she intended.

Edit: I think LizzyM averaged the MCAT scores, which I suppose some schools do. I think if Op showed such improvement it outweighs the "average".

I agree with you, the OP should continue to consider DO schools and everyone, regardless of stats, should prepare for Plan B since nothing is guaranteed. Also, I do follow what she says consistently, even though I don't usually comment.

I'm all for realism, but the way the post was stated, went beyond realism and was unnecessarily harsh, no matter if she was just talking about MD schools or DO schools. Regardless, to say that people should give up on medicine when it's totally unwarranted (3.6 GPA, 3.45 sGPA) is, to me, unnecessary and deeply upsetting.

In the end, OP if you're reading this, I wish you the best of luck with applying in the future!

I am not giving up on med, particularly just because someone told me to do so. Yeah, my grades aren't stellar, but I'll give it another try this cycle and see where I end up. Last cycle, I was living in a bubble and thought I can pick and choose where I want to go. Looking at MSAR, there are MD schools that have accepted applicants with my stats.

From all the feedback that I got from schools that I applied to, not one took issue with my MCAT. Mostly the GPA.

Forgot to mention that I am going back to school this fall as a postbac to raise my gpa.
