I have my application almost finished up and ready to submit, just wanted a quick check on my school list, let me know if I should add or remove anything. I'd love to apply to more schools than 8 but financially I don't think I'll be able to do so. Maryland resident by the way. I realize its hard to say without definitive DAT scores but assume I'll score something like what I've been scoring on my practice exams.

General Biology Major
OGPA: 3.45
SciGPA: 3.46

DAT Pending July 7th, but have been scoring about 19-20AA/20-21PAT with 2 weeks left to study.

A little bit less than 100 hours shadowing/volunteering, including at UMD's dental clinic and the Mission of Mercy Project. Played frisbee, worked at an on-campus non-profit organization (but still got paid) raising over $20,000 for the university, have tutored at a local middle school. I should have 6 good letters of recommendation from my boss, a dentist, a physics, english, chemistry, and two biology professors, and will be using these for a committee letter that should be finished up by my advisor in about a month or so.

Here's the list of schools:

-Maryland

-LECOM

-Tufts

-Boston

-NYU

-Pitt

-Temple

-VCU

Any advice is appreciated. Also, let me know what you think my chances are! Thanks in advance

Everything looks good. Just study hard for the DAT. I think your gpa, combined with a score in the ranges you're shooting to get or higher, will give you a good chance at an acceptance somewhere. I would shoot for 20+ average across the board, and try to keep the individual section scores 17+. Here are the admission averages from last cycle:

Best of luck.👍
