Thank you for this feedback! I'm not applying to Tucson because due to their long list of prerequisites, I would be 6 classes short of what they require. I've decided it's not worth applying and taking that many additional classes for one school. You are applying to too many schools. I suggest these from your list:
You should add UA Tucson.
- Midwestern SOM (AZ) (DO)
- UA Phoenix (AZ)
- Mayo (AZ)
- Creighton (AZ)
- KeckUSC (alma mater)
- GW
- Loyola
- Tufts
- U Michigan
- Case Western
- Dartmouth
- Hofstra
- Mt. Sinai
- NYU/NYU Long Island
- Rochester
- Cornell
- Duke
- U Vermont
- Kaiser Permanente
- Columbia
- Northwestern
- Ohio State
- U Cincinnati
- U Pittsburgh
- Georgetown
- U Colorado
- U Virginia
- U Iowa
- Virginia Commonwealth
- SLU
- Western Michigan
Howard mainly accepts applicants from the African American community.Thank you for this feedback! If you get the chance, would you be able to let me know the reasons for crossing off some schools? I still plan to apply to 30+, but just need to figure out how to slowly chip away at the long list!
Got it! Thank you for this extra info!Howard mainly accepts applicants from the African American community.
Schools such as Drexel, Temple, Rosalind Franklin may "yield protect" (they assume someone with your stats will attend elsewhere).
You had too many state public schools that give preference to their own residents.
I think I have UCLA already but I'll look into those schools! You have a great application. You need to shorten your list like Faha said. I think you'll be successful at getting interviews with that list.
You can also look into: UCLA, UCSD, Emory, Miami.
