This is my first time posting so sorry for any formatting mistakes but here is my info.

PA Resident
3.61 cGPA
3.48 sGPA
Freshman GPA ~3.6
Sophomore GPA ~3.3
Junior GPA ~3.7

27R MCAT (9 PS/ 10 VR/ 8 BS)
I am taking the MCAT on 8/10 as I had gotten in the 30s on practice MCATs so I think I can do better.

Shadowed 2 Surgeons and 1 Family Practice doctor
~60 hours in Emergency Department (will continue through school year)
2 years research (will continue through school year) but no publications
Officer position in 3 clubs

I am applying to MD and DO schools but would prefer to go MD if I am accepted. My current list is

MD:
Albany, Creighton, Drexel, Loyola, Jefferson, Temple, RFU, NYMC, Hershey

DO:
PCOM, CCOM, PCOM-GA, UMDNJ, KCUMB

Please let me know if there are any you think I should add or remove. Thanks.

I had similar stats but im in the cycle now so I'm not positive on how you will do. The MCAT is a little low for MD schools so you would need to retake. Did you apply to those schools yet?

Also I would consider adding DMU-COM and MSU-COM to your DO school list.

No I didn't apply yet, I was waiting to finalize my list. I thought schools would not review my application until my MCAT was in anyway, am I too late for this cycle?

Also thanks for the suggestion, I have added them to my list. I have also added EVMS.

It's true that schools won't review your application but AMCAS and AACOMAS both take about 4-6 weeks to verify your application before the school receives it, and they don't need your MCAT scores immediately. If you want to be in this cycle I'd suggest you get started now and submit your transcript requests as those usually take a while for the school to receive and send it out to AMCAS/AACOMAS.
