was looking to add 2-3 more schools to my list.

1. cGPA: 3.91… sGPA: 3.84
2. MCAT: 510–>517
3. Iowa Resident
4. White, ORM
5. Clinical experience: 500-700 hours as volunteer and worked (worked 200 hours this summer)
6. Research: 600 research hours (300 projected) in the process of publication, won lab grant, won research fellowship, undergraduate poster presentation conference
8. 120 physician shadowing in the USA and foreign countries
9. Nonclinical volunteering: 130 hours as tutor for immigrants / refugees
10. Extracurriculars: leadership positions for 3 clubs around 150 hours (not president just manager, secretary, etc), music and dance extracurriculars for 650 hours

I refrained from some of those because I was told to not apply to many schools that get 10k apps. I think TCU also accepts only 60 people. USF Morsani had an average MCAT of 519 so out of my league I think. Will check out the other schools - thank you.

Your 130 hours of tutoring may not satisfy non-clinical service orientation at the schools you have applied to. You must have 150 hours of activities such as food distribution, shelter volunteer, job/tax preparation, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation, preferably independent from a clinical context. The hours must have been completed before applying.
