I just received my MCAT score yesterday, so I've been scurrying to compile my school list. I would really appreciate some feedback!

Resident of Illinois
Attended top a top 20 university
cGPA: 3.75 sGPA: 3.65
MCAT: 34P: PS12, VR11, BS11

I would say I have very strong community service and clinical experience. My major weakness is research. I only have 1 summer of research experience with a psychology lab, which I know puts me at a large disadvantage for research universities. But anyway, here goes my list. Let me know what you guys should think---

List in 2 tiers

In reach schools:
Loyola
Rush
Southern Illinois
University of Illinois
USC
Emory
BU
NYU
Tulane
Iowa
Indiana
Tufts
Wake Forest
U Miami (miller)

OOS reach:
Madison
UNC
UCSF
U Colorado
U Massachusetts

Reach:
Northwestern
U chicago
Yale
Dartmouth
Columbia
Brown
Duke
Mayo

I know its a ton of schools, but do you guys think I'm applying to too many reaches--should I even apply to all of my OOS reach schools?

List in 2 tiers

In reach schools:
Loyola
Rush
Southern Illinois little chance if your folks don't live south of I-80
University of Illinois
USC
Emory
BU huge number of applications
NYU research focus
Tulane
Iowa
Indiana will want to know about your strong state ties
Tufts
Wake Forest
U Miami (miller)

OOS reach:
Madison
UNC low OOS consideration
UCSF huge reach without strong research
U Colorado prefers 400+ hours of clinical experience, 75% of acceptees are of nontrad age
U Massachusetts takes so few OOS it's not worth applying

Reach: all research focused-unless you are amazing in some other way (including leadership), without much research, these seem very iffy choices
Northwestern
U chicago Yale
Dartmouth
Columbia
Brown might be OK
Duke
Mayo

I know its a ton of schools, but do you guys think I'm applying to too many reaches--should I even apply to all of my OOS reach schools?
You might consider adding RFU, MCW, Okaland, UCincinnati, Toledo, SLU, UNebraska, Creighton.

thank you so much for your feedback--it was really helpful!
