I would recommend retaking the MCAT with the aim of obtaining at least an 8 on the VR. That 6 will hurt your chances at many MD schools and even some DO schools like PCOM.

With a 6 in VR, no.

Maybe you could apply to DO more broadly or retake the MCAT.

I agree that you need to up your 6 VR. If you could up it by just 3 points, that'd bring your overall MCAT to 31, giving you a solid chance at MD (assuming you don't experience a drop in BS and PS)
