Where did you get interviews last year?

Unless you live in any of the following states, it is probably a huge waste of time and money for you to apply to state schools: Illinois, Utah, WVa, SC, Utah...

NYMC, Albany, GWU. I am basing this list off the '10 School Selector spreadsheet btw. Why is WV a waste for OOS to apply to, am I reading the spreadsheet wrong?

Thanks.

Illinois takes quite a few OOSers according to the MSAR.

Perhaps, but it has a humongous OOS tuition...annual OOS COA is north of $80k IIRC...my point is that the OP appeared to have not given much thought to some of the OOS publics on his list...

Read the MSAR...ties to the state matter...IIRC for OOS they favor applicants from adjoining states...

I would be careful with that selector spreadsheet, BTW...I got some very misleading results with it...

particularly, if anyone has any suggestions as far as "reach" schools go, that would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help!

I hate people who bump their own posts but I am hoping to get a few more replies before I submit. I know I am applying pretty broadly but if anyone has any suggestions or definite cuts let me know.

Thanks!
