School: UC
Overall gpa- 3.82
Science gpa- 3.98
PAT: 22
QR: 24
Bio: 21
G chem: 22
O chem: 23
Reading: 22
AA: 22
TS: 22

ECs: President for soccer club (2 years), hospital volunteer (~200hrs), chair side assistant (150hrs), cancer research (3 years with 2 research scholarships and 1 poster presentation), and private tutor (2 years).
My GPA freshman year was about a 3.1 and had an upward trend since (4.0 for the last 3 years)
 
Well with these stats.... take your pick!
 
You are in a good spot! Great stats so I think you shouldn't have too much problem but pay attention to which schools are out-of-state friendly if you planned to apply to other states. Get the ADEA guide and study the stats of interviews & acceptances of each school as well as their pre-req courses.
 
You can realistically apply anywhere you want. I would even take a stab at one of the Texas schools if you're feeling like a dare devil.

I'd apply to all of the schools that seem appealing to you, even the more expensive private schools because your stats are good enough that you can get scholarships to these places.

No, it can only help you as long as you can explain why you participated in those extracurriculars in a positive way. If you have a good reason for switching to pre-dent from pre-med (not that you thought it would be easier to get into dental school than med school) then it should be fine.
