School list

Thanks! May I ask why you'd recommend cutting Rutgers?
In my experience, it's pretty tough to get in for whatever reasons. That being said, if you got the $, definitely apply there. They have a fantastic school. Also, I recommend you apply broadly. You want to apply to schools you think you will for sure get into because with these kinds of application cycles, you never know who will accept you. Good luck!

If you plan on specializing, (how can you know that unless parent is a specialist) then Columbia should be on the list.
UConn tough to get into
BU would be a good choice
NYU a good safety
Why Touro? No graduating class or track record.

Of these, which would be a more "comfortable" addition to my list? I'd prefer to stay on the east coast.
NYU or BU for sure. I would still apply to a bunch of safety schools though. You don't want to reapply the next year. I added Creighton and Marquette because they are cheap for private schools. Cheapness > location imo
