Hi all, I was hoping you could take a look at the schools I'm applying to and see if there are any I should add or take away...here are my stats:
Missouri resident
3.83 cum GPA, around 3.7 sGPA
32S MCAT (13 ps, 10 vr, 9 bs)
over 100 hours shadowing
volunteer at camp for kids w/ cancer for three years, at a free clinic, as a youth mentor, starting in ER
work in hematology lab and three other jobs
if you need more info let me, here's a list of the schools:
Missouri
Saint Louis University
University of Illinois-Chicago
Kansas
Michigan
Michigan State
Minnesota (I have two brothers that live in Minneapolis)
Iowa
I was hoping to apply to NYU or some other east coast schools but I don't think I would be that competitive and a 9 in biology certainly won't help...
Your thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
