School Orders

So I get four or five emails over the last couple of months telling me I should apply for my school orders (Navy). Since my school goes year round, I figured why not. I did it last week and they rejected it because "funds currently not available for school orders". Anyone know what the deal is with this? Thanks.

weird, since school orders are essentially no-cost TAD orders...(other than the fact you get paid as 0-1 + BAH & BAS, rather than your stipend). have you emailed the folks up at BUMED and NMETC?
