Hey guys
So Ill be applying to dental school this summer and was wondering how much will it cost if I apply to around 10-15 schools? Is it around $150 per school or something like that? Or does the amount get capped to say 2k or 3k regardless of how many schools you applied to? Thanks!

The AADSAS fee per school is $80. And there's no cap. You can apply to as many as you want.

Then every school has their own application fee. It averaged out to about 175/school for me.

^^^ Yes. Thanks for adding this I totally spaced it myself. I think the individual school fees (on top of AADSAS application fee) were between 50-75 dollars per school, I think all the schools I applied to had this extra fee.

And don't forget to set aside money for some interviews.... Plane tickets, food, lodging, other transportation, etc.

I would set aside about $500 for each across-the-country school you might get an interview at... and about $300 for midway-across-the-country... and $200 for places near you.

8 of my interviews required a flight... and I paid about $300+ for each. (All were on the east coast and I am from the west coast).

Also, check to see if your school has a list of the alumni currently attending dental or med school at the schools you plan on interviewing. My school has that list, and I was able to stay with a alumni before each interview. Saved a WHOLE BUNCH of money, haha.
