school randomly sending transcripts??

Today I got a weird letter from western... saying that they were rescinding my acceptance because they claim my most recent transcripts show my pre reqs have not been completed in a satisfactory maner... but I haven't had any new transcripts sent. I graduated in May and Western received my final grades and such back then before they even accepted me.

Anyway, I wasn't planning on going to western. I'm going to my state school for lower tuition closer to home. I never sent in my deposit back in December so I'm sure that they would have figured that out by now. I'm just confused and I dont know what new transcripts they're talking about.

Can an undergrad school just send transcripts..or do you have to request?

haha i hope. It made me nervous...and getting paranoid that there was something I missed that all the other schools missed too.

But why would they even be looking at my application...wouldn't they just delete me, or whatever, back in December when I never sent in my deposit, thus rejecting them?

I got that letter today too. I was a little offended that they claimed I might not have finished a class in a "satisfactory manor". I had never sent my deposit in, so maybe they just sent the wrong letter and we were suppose to have received one saying that they didn't receive our deposit?

I would just chalk it up to---well, I don't know what, but I doubt it was something on your transcript.

I've been getting random letters from Nova even though I withdrew and declined my acceptance back in November. Just this week I got an email reminding me to send in my second deposit by the 15th...even though in Jan I got a letter that said, "you didn't pay the first deposit by Dec 15th, so we are taking away your acceptance offer," which was after the "We're sorry you have decided not to attend our school. We will close your file and not reserve your seat" letter.
