Hello you all, i am new to this forum. I am a chemistry major with 3.5 sGPA, 3.5 overall GPA. Got all As and Bs in all my classes. (Bs in organic I and II, B+s in Pchem I and II, and A- in advanced Ochem). I am planning to take the MCAT in March 2018. Here are some informations about my application
80hrs volunteer at a hospital.
VP of chemistry club
Ambassador for an low income, minority organization at my school.
A mentor for LSAMP
On averaged, I worked around 15 hours at a math center from sophmore to senior year)
Presented research posters at some small conference.
An immigrant. Moved to the US when I was in high school without knowing English.
Low income family. Parents didn't go to high school.
Currently working as a research assistant at University of Colorado. I am wondering what should I do to improve my chances for med school (MD and DO). I am planning to apply next cycle. Also what schools should I apply to? I went to a small college in New Jersey, recently moved to Colorado. Thanks
