Hi!
My school is switching to a new curriculum starting with the class entering in 2019, so my class (entering in 2018) will be the last class on the old curriculum. In the new curriculum, M3 clerkships start 3 months earlier (Moving from July 1 to April 1). However, I'm planning to take a research year between M2 and M3. Would I have to cut my research year short by a few months, and would I be switched to the new curriculum once I completed the research year?
Also, how would this work for someone who was considering taking a gap year after M1? Since the M1/M2 curriculum are now significantly different.
Attached below is a timeline of the new curriculum.
Thank You!
