Alright, i think I've finally narrowed it down. I have a 4.0 GPA from a pretty small university in West Virginia. 19AA/20TS/18PAT DAT score (can look at my predents to see subsections.) I'm applying to WVU (state school), UPitt, UPenn, Boston, NYU, Columbia, Lousiville, and Nova.
If i end up really liking Boston/getting accepted i'll have to take one more credit of math (they require 6, i have 5), which is somewhat annoying as i don't need anymore for my degree, but I figure if i really like the school it won't be hard, and hopefully i'll be able to interview before fall semester is over so I can decide if I want to take that math class in the spring semester.
I wanted to apply to ASDOH also, but they now require a physiology course. My school is actually offering this course next semester (my school is small and classes aren't offered every semester) but it greatly conflicts with my already formed schedule. Still trying to think this one through, whether not adding this school to my list is worth not taking physiology. Any thoughts on that?
Any other schools i should be thinking about?
I've been in West Virginia my whole life and I've always wanted to go somewhere else. I know my state school will be VERY MUCH cheaper than these out of state places, but I feel like I got conned into staying in state for undergrad because of financial reasons and maybe paying more would be worth it if i get into an out of state school. So many decisions. I guess i should wait to think about this until i get accepted (hopefully), lol.
