Schools not in the US that still have open app's?

So I am starting to have a little panic attack that I should have applied to more schools. I have already received feedback from one that said overall my app was really strong, but my academic history from like 8 years ago (when I took the majority of my classes) was to inconsistent and they would like to see more current course work (which I am working on- but can only do that so fast).
Anyhow Does anyone know of any other out of country schools that are still accepting app's? I know the "island" schools take apps year around, but I am kind of up in the air about those since I have a husband, 3 dogs, and a few health issues of my own. I would ideally like to find a school where my husband could either find a job or maybe go back to school, as well. Or maybe go somewhere I am more familiar with like the UK (if I am going to go alone)

Anyhow, I am working on researching, but figured I would ask you guys if anyone knew of anything off the top of their head. I would rather not put off vet school for another year, if I can help it. Plus, as a non-trad student, I am starting to run out of extra classes to take in undergrad.

I just received an e-mail from RVC in London that they are accepting late applications until early 2011, but they are being considered on a first come first serve basis so to apply asap. The application is free and they have 60 seats for overseas students, so its worth a shot to look into!

Don't forget you need a subject GRE for RVC...

They actually wrote in their e-mail "Please note, late applicants are not required to sit the GRE." There's another plus to applying!

What? If you apply late you don't have to take the subject GRE? That seems weird.

I don't see anything now, but a lot of times, Edinburgh opens up late apps after the first of the year and are really quick with decisions. Just get your stuff in asap if they do.... no interview required, either. And, i love it here. The city is absolutely amazing and am loving the program. Plus, we go out to a brand new wowzer of a teaching facility next year. Gonna be high tech with all the fun stuff!

Tufts app should still be open. Usually due November 1st if I remember correctly.
Not sure about Texas or tuskagee, but they don't use the vmcas either. I think that's it for state schools.

and for cowgirla: I just assumed there wouldnt be any in the US still available, so thats great I will look at those 🙂 This was my first time applying and some how my brain wasnt working quite right. Dont know why is didnt dawn on me that I want this so bad I would go anywhere that took me. I was only considering cost, and was trying to save money. lol silly newbie 😛

I agree with Flyhi. Edinburgh is amazing and they typically take late applications (and even let you know relatively quickly). Applications might still be available on UCAS (which I think is their version of VMCAS if you didn't check the box when you applied on VMCAS). No GRE scores required last year and as Flyhi said, no interview. Feel free to e-mail the admissions committee. They were extremely helpful through everything and seem to respond (usually) the next day or same day depending on the time difference.

Last year I know Dublin was accepting supplementals up through January. You might want to check them out as well. Their site is pretty confusing to navigate, though. No interview required for Dublin either.

I might just be completely oblivious but...
I can't find on the RVC website that it says I need to send GRE scores. But on VMCAS it says I need GRE and subject GRE for RVC. I don't have subject GRE so I'd just be sending the general test anyways. But I only see transcripts requirements on on the website, not GRE.

Are you looking at the right degree (sounds stupid but with the degrees having similar and slightly confusing names...) and the requirements for North American applicants on the Entry Requirements tab? I actually don't even see anything about transcripts so I'm not sure where you are looking at.

Edit: I searched the Prospectus and it is a requirement for the D102 program (Four year program) but not listed for the five year program.

I think I'm looking at the right one, North America..4 yr, VetMed. On the PDF application it says to send transcripts.
OK, I found it there, but under BMAT (I assume thats a UK thing.) I find the UK school websites really difficult to navigate.

Download the prospectus. Its a little bit easier to figure out than the website. I agree about a lot of the overseas schools have difficult websites! All of the strange terminology makes it hard to find the information you are looking for.
