The OAT isn't that hard.

You should just take the OAT"s, remember that you can study harder and retake, or do practice exams before the actual test. There are a variety of ways you can acheive a high score. Even if you cant, getting around average with a High GPA will still put you in good standing for somewhere.

Since an OD is a doctorate degree, there unfortunately isnt any "community college" of optometry schools.

actually, there is one school. it's in montreal, canada! the catch .... you have to speak french fluently!

so you can either study for the OAT or learn French!
