i live in california and plan to apply to all pharmacy schools in california. i know all of the CA schools do NOT require the PCAT..but i got some questions here..any help?
-if you apply withOUT taking the PCAT...and another student applies and HAS taken the PCAT...does the other student have the advantage?
-do these schools LIKE it better if you take it anyways even though they dont require it?
-is it harder to get in without a pcat score?

any help will be appreciated. thank you!

I know the California schools do not require the PCAT, therefore they will not consider your score if you have taken it and send the score to them. However, I know USC says that they do look at your score if sent although they do not require it, but it doesn't play a huge role on admission. I'm still confused about USC though. In general, for the schools that do not require PCAT, I think it's tougher to gain admission since they place more emphasis on your GPA.
