I am trying to compile a list of schools/states that allow OOS students to obtain state residency in order to get the cheaper in-state tuition for years 2-4. Does anyone know of any? I know of NY, OH, and TX so far...

USC - Greenville in South Carolina does. I know that MUSC does not and I'm not sure about USC - Columbia.

University of New Mexico and University of North Dakota do. University of Minnesota does not.

South Alabama lets you do it within the month before school starts so you'll have in-state starting the first year. I didn't see it anywhere on their website but I was told during my interview day and pleasantly surprised!

University of Nebraska Medical Center gives out a few scholarships that allow OOS students to pay IS tuition

Texas schools also give out scholarships that allow OOS students to pay IS tuition (but keep in mind that 90% of seats at public Texas medical schools are reserved for IS students).
