Ok, lets start a list of schls that are easy to get an interview once u get a secondary. That is after they screen u for a secondary

hmm...i don't think there is such a thing...except maybe unc, because they only give their secondary out to applicants who they will interview. perhaps some state schools...but i wouldn't know about that...i'm from cali.

Everyone that gets a secondary at the university of Wisconsin gets an interview, does that count?😕

If you're an Arkansas resident, you automatically get an interview at UAMS...

how about "schools that are 'easy' to get in once you get an interview." There are few of those...like UIC and NU...

Tufts (>55% acceptance, many off waitlist)
Finch (>70% post-interview acceptance)

UNMC [Nebraska] shows love to all applicants and interviews everyone [both in and out of state] but then only takes like 5 of the 400 to 500 out of state applicants.

If you have the cash for a plane ticket to lovely Nebraska in the winter you've pretty much have an interview, but at the same time have about a 1% chance of getting in. The decision to waste your $ is up to you. Peace.

This is not correct. According to the 03'-04' MSAR, there were 495 out-of-state applicants, of which 88 were interviewed and 16 matriculated. When I was there they said that they accepted 30-40 of the 88 out-of-state applicants interviewed to get the 16 that matriculated.

UNMC doesn't have a secondary. They make all of the interview decisions based on the primary and then send the interview invitations, recommendation letter request, and application fee request all at the same time.

A school that is "easy" to get an interview once you get a secondary: Columbia (they give out a lot according to MSAR)

A school that is "easy" to get into once you interview: Howard (looks like about 70% according to TPR's Complete Book of Medical Schools.

Vanderbilt interviews all those they send secondaries to.

Vandy sends secondary invites to everybody. But they don't use your secondary until after you interview(if you get an interview). They invite students to interview based only on the amcas primary. They aren't very clear on that so a lot of people send the secondary in along with the fee for no reason even if they have not been granted an interview. So just because you get an invitation to fill out a secondary doesn't mean you get a Vandy interview. I think they've gotten a lot of complaints about it and are planning to be more clear on this policy.

If you fall in Wake Forest's primary interview pool, then you are guaranteed a spot in the waitlist and based on what they said when you interview... you've got a 50% chance to get an acceptance. (the other 50% fall in the waitlist category)

UMass only accepts state residents and about half or more of those that apply get an interview. I think this info may also be true of other state schools....not sure.

easy is a relative term. why don't you check out the numbers here: ALL Applied Interviewed Accepted Enrolled STATS
i wouldn't apply to a particular school because they interview more people. the more they interview, the more they reject.
these stats are just something to look at once you've gotten/had an interview to kind of know where you stand amongst the thousands of other applicants
