Hi, need advice on this particular matter.

UCLA's College of Engineering does not utilize the "W" notation regardless of when you withdraw from a class. Hence, *both* the course and the W are not present on the transcript for that particular quarter.

However, if you withdraw after the 4th week of classes, which I did for a specific course, they put a small footnote on the transcript stating the student withdrew from class yyy during the xxth week of class.

My question is : Do I list that as a W on the AMCAS since technically the 'W' notation and the course do not exist for that given quarter? thanks

😎

this is kind of an iffy situation. I'd call/email AMCAS and ask them. I'm sure they'll respond with a good answer.
