dxw said:Ok...I'm going through copies of my secondaries. I can't guarantee the accuracy of this information, but here are schools where I don't see this question being asked:
Baylor, Columbia, NYU, Penn State, SUNY Downstate, Temple (only asks about felony convictions), Tufts, Tulane, U of Cinn
Schools that asked: Georgetown, GW (legal violations other than minor traffic violations), JHU (criminal offense convictions), MCW (criminal convictions), Rush (criminal convictions), Saint Louis (criminal convictions), UCSD (criminal convictions), Yale (criminal offense)

I have a similar situation, but Im not letting a question about convictions deter me from applying to places that I would really like to attend.I dont think it will be a tremendous deal. Honesty goes a long way. Don't stress out too much. Sometimes s@it happens and you just have to move on. Good luck to you.

captbadass said:i was thinking that he could get a good LOR from his probation officer. adcoms love that type of thing.

well i dont think it matters when they find out. as long as it wasnt something malicious i dont think it will hurt you much. maybe it might help you get an interview, but if they are considering accepting you and something comes up that they did not know about that might make them more hesistant in taking you.coinlockerbaby said:that's fine if they ask later, i just don't wanna mention it now...i think it would hurt my chances for an interview, plain and simple. I don't think it would be a problem later, but i don't want to be discriminated against because i know i will be.
so, any answers? i am sure plenty of people have gotten secondaries back, and since i haven't applied yet, i'd like to konw in advance. thanks.
coinlockerbaby said:thanks! that was nice of you!
