I thought it would be useful if we have a thread that has posts of schools who started to send II's to applicants along with the date, so people wouldn't have to check each school specific thread to see if II's began

If you want to contribute, post the date you got an II, and the school name

a guy in the Pitt thread said he got one around 7/10. thats the only one I've seen

Better to create an "official 2016 - 2017 interview invite thread" and get people to copy and paste into the list as they add schools and dates

I'm not verified by AMCAS yet, but I was verified by AACOMAS last week. So far I have received secondaries from Pikeville-Kentucky College oft Osteopathic Medicine and VCOM, I recieved an email from Campbell COM and LUCOM saying that they are reviewing apps in the next few weeks. LUCOM said they wouldn't send secondaries until I got my MCAT scores back

IIs are not the same as secondaries.

Not trying to be a debbie-downer, but what relevance would it have on your application-or this process as a whole- that people are getting II from schools that might not even be the ones you applied to?

I applied to a ton of schools and dont follow all of their threads. I would prioritize secondaries at schools that send out early interviews, if I knew which schools those were.

Oh I see. I was under the impression that schools rank you based on priority for interviewing at their schools though?

Not all schools have started sending out interviews yet. However, I can see from the Pritzker thread, for instance, that they are already sending out interview invites. Thus, it would be in one's best interest to get Pritzker's secondary done ASAP, to be in as early an interview pool as possible. For a school that doesn't begin interviewing until October, it likely doesn't matter much if your secondary is received in July vs August.

No I understand. I was thinking that within the batches of applicants, they stratified you based on priority. Does that make sense?
