What schools think highly of research?

Harvard, UCLA, UCSF, etc.

I like to think that all of the schools would look highly on a applicant who had research experience.

It's a crazy time commitment, and if you work hard and get published it seems to me like that would show that you are a dedicated and capable applicant.
