I figured we didn't need another "Offical" thread, but these schools taking so long is driving me crazy.
Here's the schools that have so far dropped the ball (for the past month)

USC (scanning LoR still)
Georgetown (I think it's complete, but website isn't updating)
Brown
Harvard
Boston U

Waiting 30 days for 5 schools, that's 150 days: half a year in waiting!

UCSF... By the way, I spoke to a guy in their admissions office who sounded like he didn't know what medical school was...


Don't waste your time sending your secondary application via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation to UCSF. They don't sign when the receive the envelope, so the delivery is never confirmed with UPSP. Save yourself the five bucks or use Fedex or the like.

I am out of state applicant to UCSF. It took awhile for me to get the secondary after being verified. I turned in the secondary immediately and for 2 months I hear nothing from them- not even a verification that my stuff arrived in the mail. They didn't even cash my check! I tried emailing and calling to just make sure stuff didn't get lost in the mail but there is really no way of getting in touch with them. Finally, they cashed my check a few days ago. I guess the lessons to be learned are: 1) UCSF takes their time and 2) There's really no point trying to communicate with them. I just hope I get an interview and not a rejection!

I second the mention of UCSF 🙁 They've had my materials for almost 6 weeks, but they haven't marked me complete yet.

penn state is taking FOREVER...i called them last week, and they said that they were just then emailing the people who submitted their secondary during the first week of september complete...gah

Does Loyola send out complete notices or do you have to call them to check?

If you email RFU they will mark you complete when they respond to your email.
