schools to call to verify status?

i just called wake and they already had a status for me. they said 'snail mail' takes a while to reach you and whatnot.

are there any other schools that i should be called that probably already have a decision on whether to interview you or not but just haven't contacted you?

Please help! i'm desparate for interviews!
