Schools which provide for interview travel

Does anyone know if schools are willing to provide aid for traveling to interviews? I have a FAP fee waiver and dropping $400 or $500 to fly across the country for an interview is pretty prohibitive 🙁

I don't want to ask the schools directly if it's a taboo thing

U Chicago paid for my revisit, but no schools even offered to pay for interviews - I had to drop my interview at U Penn because I couldn't afford to fly to yet another place. Oh well. But you could always ask the financial aid people - they generally don't communicate with the admissions people (not that your financial status has any bearing on your application).
