Schools with crazy 2ndary deadlines

I know that many of us (me at least) have been putting off the dreaded secondaries until after the august mcat. So lets see if we can help each other not miss due dates. I know that Loyola/Chicago has a weird deadline and everyone gets their very own stamped right on their letter...aww isnt that sweet? Too bad mine is like next week!!! 😡

I just read this post from Uegis:

"I just got a spam summary from my university email account, and i saw feinberg in there. I went to check my supp app and the due date was 8/5!!! I just called their adcom and they seem to be pretyt nice about it, hopefully they'll extend my deadline. Sucks!! That was one of my top out of state school!!"

and it made me realize that not all schools have nice generous deadlines like we expect ie: 11/15 or later.

Some schools want to be different and original with secondary deadlines. 😱

Yup, Northwestern is one week! Crazy. Wake Forest was three weeks. And UCI, UCD, and UCSD are one month.

Loyola asks a lot of questions too. "We know it will take you considerable amount of time to fill it out." At least they realize that, hahaha

Don't forget Vanderbilt.

This could be the worst one. You have to write a 2000 word, a 500 word, and another 500 word essay about your autiobiography, your skills, and your research. You have only the time from when you get the initial interview invite until the actual interview.

I am working on these right now and I am hella stressin.

True, but the only thing that is worse is having to redo Vandy's because you got waitlisted and didn't make the cut. i.e. ME! 👍
