hi,
i'm a canadian and want to apply to US schools...
thus, will be mainly looking at private schools and some state schools that accept Canadians.

I was wondering if there are any specific requirements for certain schools I should be aware of.
As an example, I initially thought of applying to Loma Linda, BUT they require a LOR from a religious leader. All I have for LOR is from a dentist, two science professors, and my volunteer coordinator. I don't plan on getting any more. If I didn't know this, I would have wasted money on applying to Loma Linda.

So, is there any Canadian friendly schools that have any specific requirements like this?!

I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks!

thanks doc toothache
I do have the ADEA official guide BUT cannot find any info regarding specific LORs and other specific requirements.
Are they listed on the section for each individual dental schools? Where can I find this info
thanks

Yea, AADSAS will only let you send in 4 letters. I had one from a dentist I shadowed, two science professors, and one from a research supervisor, (pretty much exactly like you). Most Canadian-friendly schools will require around the types of letters you have, so you're fine. Loma Linda is a bit of an outlier in that sense.

I'm a Canadian applicant as well and applied this past cycle with those 4 letters to these 10 'Canadian-friendly' schools: UPenn, UDM, UoP, Temple, BU, USC, Case, NYU, Minnesota, Buffalo.
(I never actually heard back from BU, Temple or UoP, but they do seem to have a bit of history in accepting Canadians.)

Good luck.
