So does that mean temple requires an 18 in each section of the dat?
Here is what it says on the Tufts website 🙂

*Please note new DAT requirements for 2009-2010 application cycle*
Test must be completed after June 1, 2007; applicants are strongly encouraged, though, to complete it before January 1, 2010;

i wouldn't say that those are hard and fast rules though. ive talked to Dr. Guckes at UNC and he said that they don't consider PAT at all. ive also heard of people getting into UAB and other schools with low PATs...probably QR as well.

Slacker, where did yo get your info? I find it mathematically impossible for some of these schools to have these minimum DAT scores, yet still have the DAT averages they have. I haven't looked up the schools because I don't want to waste my time, but if I am not mistaken one school I know about becasue their scores are considered to be a joke is Howard. Their DAT scores are 17 overall and 16 PAT. It is IMPOSSIBLE to have an average of 16 and have a minimum of 17!!! HMMMM????? Also, it is nearly impossible to have a minimum of 17, but have an average of 17. That would mean everyone had to have a 17. Again, not possible. please verify the source of your info. I got mine from Predents.com which PDIZZLE got his from the ADEA handbook. Your numbers just don't add up unless they state they require a number but make LOTS of exceptions.

IMO I wouldnt base all my information straight from predents.com. The information provided is not updated on a yearly basis so i wouldnt assume that the site is 100% accurate. The ADEA handbook is very useful and a lot more accurate with current information and is updated yearly. Thats the source I use. Better yet, Why dont you just call up the schools and ask them?
I have a question you said that Detroit Mercy need minimum of 17 AA DAT or on every sections including PAT as I got 13 on PAT..
MY STATS:
DAT AA: 17
DAT TS: 18
OC: 20
GC: 18
RC:17
PAT: 13🙁
AND QR: 13 again 🙁
Is there any chances?? which dental school i might get good shots in?
