I remember seeing something related to virtual dissection [software based] where students would not be required to perform real dissection.
I read a pertinent article posted below.

Does anyoneone know which schools allow no [or optional] cadaver dissection?

michigan state: prosection
vanderbilt: dissection

CCLCM will be all prosection/computer models as well.
 
My school will soon be all prosections, starting in the fall of 2007 when the basic sciences move to Sacramento.

UCSF also uses prosections.
