Do any DO schools allow you to pay by c/c? i am really tight on cash right now. I was hoping to pay by c/c and then pay off my card when i get a real job. i thought everything was switching over to computer, but all the DO secondaries i've gotten so far want a check mailed to them.

DMU allows you to pay by credit card, but one bit of unsolicited advice: If you are planning on maintaining a balance on your credit card, make sure that you at least pay the minimum payment every month. If you have to borrow additional money in med school, you will get a terrible rate w/ poor credit.

Additionally, some residencies now require a credit screening before you begin your employment (don't know this first hand, but could swear I saw it somewhere).

thanks for the reply. for some reason i thought i paid for dmu by check. anyhow, i have excellent credit and i never pay just the minimum. im just in a tight money situation right now b/c of the postbac program i did last year. im not worried about paying it back once i get a job, which is hopefully soon. its just that i want to get my secondaries in now, before i get a job.

The New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine allowed me to use a credit card
