hello again,

just wondering if anyone could help me out with some ideas for boosting the ol' sci GPA. i've been looking through the school websites and i haven't found diddily when it comes to finding out whether environmental science or botany would boost the sci GPA.

any help would be awesome!

thanks

Call AACOM and ask them. They should be able to tell you. I know that Astronomy, Physical Anthropology, and Primatology is considered science. So, I don't see why those classes aren't considered science. But, call AACOMAS to be certain.

dude
i dont really understand your question but i know that u would just need to take introductory biology. i also know that if did bad on classes then u can take them again. and when calculating the sci gpa they would take the higher score. for DO schools that is.

well actually my question was simple, it was concerning classes that AACOMAS would consider as "Science Courses" and I was thinking about taking Envi Sci or Botany to help boost it. Not too difficult there

My personal feeling is that you should give up on life. Don't worry about being a doctor.

One place I've seen alot of people boost their science GPA is using very low level math classes. These hours do figure in, altho you might have fun explaining it to an interviewer.

math doesnt count as sci gpa for DO schools..but it does count as sci gpa in allo schools hence BCPM (bio, chem, physical science, math)

The fastest way to boost that GPA is to retake a course or two. I'd do that if your wanting to take courses merely to boost your GPA.
