Will any of these courses help me boost up my science gpa?
If not, which ones would be helpful for med school?
Thanks in advance.

Human Genetics
Biotechnology
Developmental Biology
Biology of Viruses
Molecular Genetics of Microorganisms
Molecular Genetics of Eukaryotic Organisms
Cytogenetics
Human Biochemical Genetics
Genetics of Bacteria and their Virus
Medical Genetics
Clinical Cytogenetics and Cancer Genetics
Molecular Diagnostics
Recombinant DNA Techniques and Lab

I can only take 2 of the courses...

IMO.....Human Genetics and Biology of Viruses will be the most helpful for the MCAT, if you haven't taken it already.

Other than that....take what interests you, what has a good teacher, and what you think you will be successful in.

Whether or not something will boost your GPA depends on whether or not you can get an A in it. If they are all under the heading of Biology classes, they will count towards your sGPA.

I'll take the MCAT in a couple of months
But I just found this thread and according to AMCAS only these (in the thread) specific courses will count towards my sGPA
Maybe I'm mistaking...

What I get from that thread is that if it is offered from the Biology department (as opposed to the Engineering Department) it is a Biology class and will count toward your sGPA.

Those are just a reference. Each class will have a different name in different schools. For instance, Human Genetics is the same as Genetics on that list. All the classes you listed will count towards your sGPA.

Got it.
We actually have genetics (intro), and human genetics. That's why I was a bit confused.
