The purpose of this poll is for applicants to get an idea of their progress with respect to other applicants.
What is your science GPA and MCAT, and, at this time, how many interviews have you been invited to and how many schools have accepted you?
Multiply your science GPA and MCAT score to get a number, and use that number to answer this poll.
This poll started on December 21, 2003.

Clarification: "science GPA" means "BCPM" GPA on the AMCAS application, or similar measure taking into account bio, chem, physics, math, etc.

Table, for reference:
GPA __ MCAT __ GPA*MCAT
2 _____ 25 _____ 50
2 _____ 30 _____ 60
2 _____ 35 _____ 70
2 _____ 40 _____ 80
3 _____ 25 _____ 75
3 _____ 30 _____ 90
3 _____ 35 _____ 105
3 _____ 40 _____ 120
4 _____ 25 _____ 100
4 _____ 30 _____ 120
4 _____ 35 _____ 140
4 _____ 40 _____ 160

well this is a new formula to me. Who gave you this one?

I always subscribed to the CumGPAx10+MCAT >= 65 = likely acceptance.

this is so complicated...I can't do the math 😛

Somewhat unscientific, but hey it's fun.

Of course, I think its what we all kinda expected to...I still maintain that the best source for Stats junkies is the MSAR.
